Should the NHL admit they made a mistake? (Update in the Chara/Pacioretty Situation)

The reaction across the Hockey world continues to pour in. The more people see the video of the hit and see the picture of Chara’s hand pushing Pacioretty’s face into the turnbuckle, the more people become angered. This begs the question…Should the NHL admit they made a mistake and retroactively suspend Zedno Chara?
People in Montreal are pissed and I know they want justice as is show in the video below:
With a possible criminal investigation impending, the NHL is coming under pressure to do something. My thought are that the league doesn’t want to look like it’s “Flip Flopping” on it’s decisions as it may have to deal with this in the future. But the severity of the injury and the subsequent outrage should in this one situation, make the NHL retract it’s previous statement, apologize and suspend Zedno Chara.
I can hear the Boston Bruins trolls on the internet pissing and moaning but if it happened to Milan Lucic…you’d feel the same way. Swallow your pride and understand that justice should be served as to try and prevent this from happening in the future.
Do you think the NHL should admit their mistake?
