My heart broke last night when Patrick Kaleta scored in overtime last night. I was still recovering for the previous night when we we’re shutout by the Caps. I can see the writing on the wall…The Rangers aren’t the best team in the Eastern Conference. I took my Homer goggles off. O.K.?

But how can I not be endlessly positive about my Blueshirts? As long as we’re still playing…my optimism will continue to run wild.

And I know I need to be realistic…please don’t send me messages saying:

“But Frankie…the Rangers Suck…and I hate Glen Sather…and I think Tort is a dink…”

Don’t blame Tort. Don’t blame Sather. You know who to blame. Yourselves. For not cheering hard enough! For shame.

But seriously…our defense is terrible. Rookies and dinosaurs are not a good formula for a solid defense. Wade Redden out!

I’m done with this post…it’s a mess…kind of like the Rangers defense.
