Oh no Erik! Watch out for that nothing on the ice! Did Marty stare at you too hard? What happened? I don’t understand. Remember when KotalEEEK flubbed that shot against the Atlanta Thrashers on the 14th of December? Well…welcome to the Flub Club Erik!
Besides the terrible state of Rangers overtime play…they played incredibly well all game. The Rangers had 51 shots but couldn’t get it past an on point Martin Brodeur. Though the Blueshirts didn’t win…they got a point. Works for me. They also we’re able to kill off a one minute and twenty second 5 on 3. Lundqvist has the touch that could carry us into the playoffs…because being 20th in the league in scoring won’t take us there. The offense is stepping up…let’s not look to this game as a negative…we got a point and we are generating offensive chances.
I’ve said this in other posts…maybe it’s getting repetitive…but Wade Redden needs to go. He can’t pass…he can’t shoot…he can’t even stay on his skates when he gets hit. Get with it Rangers Front Office! In the previous post I said Michal Rozsival wasn’t “Sucking plankton off the ocean floor” like Redden because of his assists total. Well, I changed my mind. Put him on the “Plankton Sucking List”. There’s no life in his game. Period.
I’ll leave it at that. 8th placed Ottawa (6-13-1 on the road) is next…expect a win, 4 to 1.
